View Full Version : What's A 93 Fleetwood Brougham Worth? 50 4Ever 09-23-06, 03:50 PM I am thinking about selling my Grey 93 Fleetwood Brougham. It has 147,000 miles, 5.7L. It would make a good project car because there are some things that need attention: cracked dash, rips in front leather seats, passenger seat metal frame broken, small tear in the vinyl top (4"0). The CD doesn't work, I think there is a CD stuck in it, if I remember correctly someone put in a CD while there was one in it.
New tires, granted they are the cheapest I could find. 2 extra wheels with mounted studded snow tires, new windshield.
What do you guys think it might be worth? caddycruiser 09-24-06, 09:37 PM I'm gonna say $2.5k'ish. '93s aren't as desired as '94-96 models in the first place (but they're all pretty cheap now), and given the mileage and condition you've described, that'd probably be a top price. If it's also REALLY nice mechanically, and under the skin, maybe a little higher, but given things like worn seats and a cracked dash, maybe not.
People buying these cars, unless they're really looking for a terrific bargain that might need some work but is in generally strong shape, look for ones in the best shape they possibly can in a given budget--so things like rips, tears, broken parts, etc., can really make it less attractive. Not unusual at all, but still less attractive. 50 4Ever 09-25-06, 01:18 AM Thanks for the response. Mechanically it is sound, the front suspension needs some work.
 davesdeville 09-25-06, 07:19 AM It's worth about $75. I will be generous and give you $100 for it. Deal? :p caddycruiser 09-25-06, 07:40 AM Thanks for the response. Mechanically it is sound, the front suspension needs some work.

Hmm, probably closer to the $2k mark then. The more work it needs, the lower it goes. codewize 09-25-06, 09:41 PM My 93 is pretty clean. With the exception of needing a few minor TLC things. Not that I would ever sell it but I'd be looking for somewhere around $4 - 5k. Of course that would be with everything working and the body is 100% caddycruiser 09-25-06, 11:36 PM My 93 is pretty clean. With the exception of needing a few minor TLC things. Yes, if all is really well and it doesn't really need anything on sale day and the mileage is lower, $4-5k'ish wouldn't be too far off at all, I would think. It would have to be a prime example of a '93, which have actually been getting pretty rare to find more and more. And from what I've monitored the past few years, the values seem to have leveled off, rather than continuing to drop.
Actually, my dad paid $4500 for our white/red '93 with 88k on it over 3 years ago, and I paid the same $4500 for my pewter/tan '95 with 117k just this past January. Both needed a detail, but that was about it. I'm gonna say $2.5k'ish. '93s aren't as desired as '94-96 models in the first place (but they're all pretty cheap now),
Yep, I'll agree to what he said. ^^^
Pretty much the going rate in my area for a 93 FW in that condition. More FWs were produced in 1993 (speaking of the 1993-6 body style), plus it has the less powerful engine which makes a difference to many people. | |
