Im on a roll this past week.

Here is the 83 Coupe i said i was going to look at.

Its like dejeaview (day sha veiw, i cant spell)
Again coverd in pine needles and sap, green mossy custom paint affect.

ALot of new shit, rebuilt motor.
Bought it off a neigbors son, who is in his 40's. Guys is honest. Was actually going to let me take the car without paying, and do whatever with it, if i liked it then i would pay him if not he would take the car back and pay me for whatever i put in it.
for $300 i cant lose.

started right up with a brand new batter he bought for it a day before i picked it up.
bad brake line and trans line (again dejaview) lol
its been repainted, new tires, shocks, alot of stuff. he was rambling off a list.

OOOO and Remote start!! I thought that was PIMP!

car sat for 2 years outside.
He said it had "hesitation in the motor" :bigroll:

Needs to be cleaned, and pass door fixed, and the trans and brake lines.
This should make up for that fleetwood, cuz im fixing this one up. IDK if im going to keep it for myself though.

I want a coupe and a 90 Cadillac.

i have them both but cant keep both ultimatle want a Le Cab.
You will notice my 90 on the lawn under a cover. Becasue i also have a 96 town Car im looking to sell. Onece that is sold the Cadillac will be back on the road.

for now this coupe is a project i guess.

Quite a bit of build up, drivrs door hinge roller is worn out i think.

Grill is a spray painted mess. there are 2 more in the trunk, one is a ugly one with a square block desgin, other is a stock one, i think a 90 one is in call though!!!

The rain this weekend is keeping me from doind anything to it.

I may put it back on the trailer bring it to my dads shop where there is a lift and a wash bay. He needs to do some work to his truck so i may tinker with this until it can go on the lift when he is done.
I put brake fluid in to get it to altleast stop some... but there is absolutely NO stopping what so ever. I hope its no more then brake lines.

Haha..... 12 hours later. Its 300 am got in a hour ago. since 2 i have been working on it.

This is what i did.
First i got in in the shop... started right in on that passenger door. The handle on the outside was frozen, the one on the inside seemed a bit loose. After diagnosing threw the top where the window goes down, i decdied to take the panel off.... panel is off enough to get at the latch... i pulling pushin at everythin gon the latch.. nothing. I was getting a little bit PO then decied to soak the latch in liquid wrech and come back to it. 5 min later.... Pop.. opend right up.
Now this is when the car starts showing it likes me...
im between the car and the open pass door re installing the panel and right behind me in the upper door post jamb area is a big bees nest. (keep in mind im HIGHLY Alergic....) I got a glimps of them and ran! luckly i didnt get stung and after collecting myself sprayed the nest. i was literally a foot away.

Doors working im pumped. At this point its likee. cool. shits working now.

Then i busted out the empty shop vac. Vaccumed the trunk gutter, door jambs and under hood. Well passenger side, whrere the opening is for the horn, there is another bees nest. I was staring it right in the face and didnt get stung. ran again. sprayed... the died
Contiued to vaccume.

got all the jabs done and then noticed the back of the front seats, the pocket on the backs. the elastic was streched and the lips were all sagin.. this botherd me deeply. Who cares if it doesnt stop. So i pulled them tight and tied a knot in the elastic. SWEET!

at the same time i felt something poking me in the back seat )this was when i was admiring the rear leg room in this 2 door. It was the hubcap key wedged in the back seats. SCORE!!!!!

Next i fixedthe rear courtesy lights, a simple. pop the cover off and jiggle the bulbs. TA DAAA!!

now im sitting in the front, notice there is no crusie... GAY and tried the power seat. some ways you can heaer the seat motors move but nothing in the seat moves... DAMIT!!!!!! And the drivers door lock switch only locks the doors, pass doesnt do squat. ****!

as i collect myself to move the car to the wash bay my homie Ryan comes by and checks up on me. He askes about the trans leak. And this would be the first time i really looked at it also. Start the car up and some liquid is pissing out of a hose on the pass side commin from the raidiator and it goes to the oil filter. its oil. DAMIT!!!!!!!!!

look at it for about 5 min.... decide id rather the car look good them drive or stop so i wash it.

Take a high pressure hose. Spend about 20 min for each jamb area and clean the dirt that was left under all the needles. trunk, hood and each door.

Next was the wheels. White walll cleaner and wheel acid soaked on each for 5 min. scrub, whites are white and the wheel covers are clean AND shinny!!!

Palimanry (pa lim a nary) wash. meaning soak the whole car (mainly the top, and all white panles in white wall cleaner. Scrub the top, rinse. Top came out weird. A peremeter going around it is WHITE WHITE and the inner is white, but has some gray to it liek the white is faded or thining off. I dont think its dirt beacst i scrubbed.

Next is a bucket of water and white wall cleaner over all the white body panels. At this point i was PUMPED. There is a white caddy in tehre!!!!!!!

I get to the back tail light region on both sides and there are bees coming out of the tail lihgts like crazy. I busted the hose on them for about 10 min. They kept commign out. io couldnt see or get to the nest to spray. There are prob more in there... i hope not though.

So i washed all the panels. didnt hit anything that wasn white. Glass chrome ect didnt get washed.

Stoped the first wash. Tomorrow i have to take all the sap off and re wash. I can get sap off with laqure thinner, Thats what i use at work . But IDK about the top. There is sap there too.

And worst part it the sap had needles stuck to it. so even after i washed it it had needles stuck on it still. BUT lookS ALOT BETTER!!!!!

Brought it back over vaccumed half then got inot the "important shit" (i didnt care much... cuz i know it would atleast look good parked in the drive.

Brake lines.... replaced the one going to the back . Only half way back though. Spliced into the old line.

Then noticed the front left was gone. Did that. Couldnt do anything about the oil line... parts store was closed.. and it may need to come from the dealer if i can figure out what its called.

attempted to bleed brakes fluid on came out and sucsefully bled the front left. No fluid came out of the front right or rears. ????????? double **** YOU CAR!!!! at this point... 2 am i gave up. Put it back on the trailer and said... you look good.


So now its sitting on the trailer in ftont the house. Will work on the sap tomorow in my drive and interor. Will look at the brakes again next weekend.
Now it stops atleast.


While bleeding... when id pump the brake for the rear,, it would go ALMOST down to the floor... my dad would open the up and the pedal wouldnt move. did this for about a half hour. Fluid came out of the distriution box thingy on the new line we changed, but didnt come to the back.... ???

Ahhh... im tired... 330....

The last owner is coming by to give me the remote for the remote startter, a extra set of keys and for the locking gas cap. He is going to bust a load in his pants when he sees it so far.

My bed is calling me..

This is where the Diamond part comes into play from my title.

Spent about 4-5 hoours today taking all the sap off. OMG.... I smell like a christmas tree..

Then i took it for my first real whippin around the block. It drove Ok.

Brought it in the driveway and did some little shit.
Changed the grill (90 grill looks sOOOO much better)
Buffed the clear corner lights to take the "foggy" ness off them.
Vaccumed the inside. cleaned all the dashh and shit.
Got some chrome tape of the rear bumper. :(
Getting ready to wash again it started to rain.
So while i was not cleaning it i poped the cadillac crests off the hubcaps and re painted the gold red blue white and black in them. They look REALLY NICE!!

Stoped raining... washed it all up. did the white walls again...

Then i ran out of sunlight.

I personally dont like these all red ones...

I have heard they dont fit right in unless you swap bezels. Im not doing that.
