After being hit, my '05 SRX needed the shifter to be messed with in order to tow the car. They poped a piece out of the shifter platform and stuck a screwdriver in and released something. Now, I can get power to it but it will not tilt or eject the CDs or Nav disc. Is there a way to do it manually? What did they release inside that hole next to the shifter?

The shift interlock manual release. I doubt it has anything to do with the radio, however.

Mabye not the radio but the nav will not open or eject if it's in gear.

Is the car still in gear? You should be able to follow the same procedure to move the shifter into Park also.

I think the whole drivetrain was pushed back. The stick looks like it's in park. No matter how hard you push foward it still dosen't let you get the discs out. I wonder if it can be done manually or by bypassing something electrical.

A guy had a disk stuck in his computer. He squirted melted butter through the slot with a turkey baster, grabbed the disk with a pair of pliers, and pulled it out. It worked for him.
