The way school works here is that you go to school for three months, I started in July so I'm done now, and then you go and work for three months at a company that you have secured a job position with. I got a mechanical engineering job with MTD products, so I get real world experience in mechanical engineering, with what I learned at school the previous three months.

I'm not sure if MTD is going to help with school, some companies will help pay for tuition though. But it is a regular job, 40+ hours/week and you get paid for it. The farther along in school, the more you get paid. ex. freshman start at 12/hour, seniors are at 19.5/hour, and it alternates every three months. school, work, school, work and so on.
