Hello fellow Cadillac owners! My wife wants to sell her baby. The Cadillac in question is a 1988 Fleetwood Brougham Hearse with 74,412 miles as of this minute. The color is navy blue with blue interior. The car is a Miller-Meteor conversion. The air conditioner will freeze you out if you turn it on "High" and the heater will burn you out if you crank it up too. The Hearse has the Automatic Load Leveling System and it works perfectly! The only thing that does NOT work on the car is the Cruise Control. Inside the back of the car, it is in perfect condition. There is a little dust on the floor in the back, but I plan to sweep it out with a broom tomorrow. The car's name is "Elizabeth" and she has a 5.0 liter 307 engine which, if I remember right, was an Oldsmobile engine... I can't be sure on that but I think it is. Anyways, it's original. 4-barrel quadrajet carb, new water pump, new brakes 3,000 miles ago, oil change 500 miles ago, and the rest of the engine is original and runs perfectly. She gets about 15mpg around town. 4-speed automatic transmission. I have the original AM/FM radio that it came with but I installed a cassette player so my wife could listen to her old-school tapes while she cruised. The original vinyl roof was ripped and shredded on the top when we got the car, so I did lots of research on how to either replace or fix the roof to keep it from leaking. Replacing the entire vinyl top was quoted to me as a $625 job... In ANY color we wanted, even red, pink, or green! That was a little out of our budget so I researched less expensive ways to fix the top. After much research and consideration, I covered the entire roof of the car in ROOFING TAR... Basically asphault in a can. It took 1 1/2 cans. BIG cans... Anyways, it is on top of the vinyl roof, so it can be as easily removed as the vinyl top would be. Please don't flame me for using such a cheap fix on the car, it looks like a "Crinkle Top" that was offered on lots of Superior hearses. Hopefully the following pictures will answer your questions, but if not, please post your questions and I will answer them as soon as possible. Oh yea, PRICE! Almost forgot. $2500 and we live in Texarkana which is right where Arkansas and Texas meet. Shipping is up to the buyer. She is reliable enough to drive anywhere. $2500 and feel free to post questions. Thanks in advance. Here are the pictures:

My question is how do you get your wife to drive a Hearse?

My wife bought it before we got married, and she liked the idea of driving it... It had low miles, and it is a Cadillac. It suits her sense of humor quite well.
Not sure what else to say... I used to own a hearse 5 years ago but mine was a Mercury Grand Marquis... Hers is a Cadillac. How do I get her to drive it? Well, it's her car. Don't know what else to say. I drive a 1994 Ford Escort that gets 34mpg. It's a little more practical for these days. Easier to park too. LOL ... Any other questions?

I like your wife's sense of humor.
Does she come with the car?

:)

(Yes. That is a joke.)
