I guess for a proper diagnoses i need to tell you how things happened so far..
First, when i got new speakers, a couple subs and an amp installed in my car it sounded great for 2 days and then something happened...
I was outside a store waiting for someone in my car and decided to listen to some music for a couple minutes until they came out, well that was dumb of me because it drained my battery in only two minutes. Then i got a jump from some dude that wouldnt take the 5 bucks i tried to give him for jumping my car.
So my car starts and while on my way to my destination my stereo cuts off and only my subs were playing, which was crazy so i turned everything off, disconnected the amp and subs and drove to my destination.
i arrive and am away for a couple hours and come back, my car wont start.
So i find someone to help and it wouldnt jumpstart either... So it stays overnight... i comeback the next day, and after using better cables, it jump started and i got it home... Someone told me it could be my battery, but i thought that i just bought the battery, so i take it in, and get it upgraded to an optima redtop...
Car starts, i try my audio and it sounds horrible even though the speakers are brand new high quality speakers... and my decks displays all messed up and slightly gets dimmer and brighter. I park it for the day and the next day come out and it wont start again.
I take my car in and they check my alternator and tell me that its bad and that they will install a new one. Ok, well they installed it and my car was running again. But my audio was still crap... i try to hook up my amp, just to see what happens and the "protect" light is on so no subs...
I bring it home, and it starts up and runs for the next 2 days and then i come out the third day and it is dead again... I jumpstart it and bring it in, they dont know whats wrong and said there could be a loose connection somewhere...
So now after a new battery and alternator, my cars generator light pops on and my audios still the same. My deck worked intermittently yesterday but still played even though it didnt sound very good.
Currently, My generator light pops on while driving and gets brighter when i press the gas pedal....
Any advice, opinions, comments would be very much appreciated!
