Mods, I don't want to see this thread locked, so if you feel my post is inappropriate, please delete it.

I remember looking up the prayer attributed to St. Francis in the days after 9/11. Whether you're Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddist, Hindu or don't subscribe to any religion, I think the words are beautiful and eloquent:

A prayer by Saint Francis :
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
Where there is sadness, joy
Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled, as to console
To be understood, as to understand,
To be loved, as to love
For it is in giving, that we receive,
It is in pardoning, that we are pardoned,
It is in dying, that we are born to eternal life

i'll never forget anything about that day. :(

On an early September morning;
Hatred reared it's ugly head.
Terrorism struck Manhattan;
It's wake left thousands dead!

It truly was a miracle ...
How many lives were saved.
Over-shadowed by the horror;
Of the war-like rubbled grave!

Time seemed frozen, hope was lost;
For loved ones left behind.
Trying to hold onto their faith,
Praying, "God give us a sign!"

Uncovered from the wreckage;
A sight that seemed unreal.
A cross that stood 'bout twenty feet ...
From twisted beams of steel!

For those who fought, wounded, and died that day. In remembrance of 9/11/01.

All the networks are going overkill on this stuff , its not really a day i want to relive.....I havent forgotten , so i dont need to be reminded and get all pissed becuse we havent gotten the guy we blamed it all on .....Osama ...

I think back to what tommy fanrks said to us about the silver platter and dry ice that are on standby so he could bring osamas head to bush ...and how we were gonna find him screwing a sheep in a***nistan and not even give him a chance to speak ....

And how everyone talks about Iraq to no end but hardly a word is utterd about afganistan .....I was there.... it exists.... trust me ....
