How many cars can you name?

Classic Car Quiz (http://stevelyon.com/quiz.html)

I got 37/100 my first time. I think I could do better next time, but it's kinda hard because all the pics are so small and I wasn't alive when these cars were made lol!

I was alive for most of them, a lot I was just a kid.. but i loved cars as a kid and still do.

I got 70, but missed a few models... and I'm sure my spelling cost me a few.. but lots of fun... thanks for the post

I got 79....the problem is I can tell the car is a Pontiac, or a Studebaker or what have you...but I just can't remember the model.

81.... Some are worded tricky, like instead of firebird, its trans am

Any foreign?... One or two of those looked German or Italian

96/100 — bwaaa haa haa haa!

Finally, my wealth of useless information is put to use. To make it even worse, I could also tell you the year on most of them, too.

Agreed, there are some tricky ones. The Cadillacs could have easily been Fleetwoods instead of DeVilles, for instance. And a Catalina could have been a Bonneville.

Who got numbers 9 and 35? Those are the ones I missed.

69/100, it's the models that trips me up, what model is that brown cadillac? I tried everything.

#8 is Coupe de Ville
#46 is DeVille

That's one of the flaws in the quiz is inconsistency. Also, you can't tell whether it's a Sedan or Coupe de Ville from the parts of the cars that are shown. And either one could have also been a Calais or a Fleetwood.

Still fun though. Thanks for posting the link Chad. Rep points for you!

What's annoying is number 11. Oldsmobile called the car an "Eighty Eight" not an "88" ANNOYING!!!

WTF is 9?

I only got 60 and I don't have time to chase it anymore.

That's frustrating. I thought I knew more than that!

I was surprised at how many I got on the first try without even thinking. Either I got lucky, or I knew the difference between the Firebird and the Trans Am.

I looked at all of the pictures before typing anything, the first one I jumped on was the Falcon.

It's weird how your mind works.

#9 - Meteor Rideau

Appearantly Ford called their Mercury division Meteor in CANADA. I'm guessing that's a '57

I don't understand how this one, the two IMPORTS and the Korean-built Nova can be on a CLASSIC CAR list

#11 I beleive is a '59 Dynamic 88 or Super 88 - not just 88

now if they had a quiz of 80's -90s cars...then I'd do much better...

If it was an all Cadillac quiz, I'd rule.

Ok I got 64. I tell you some of those are deceiving. I was swearing that 15 was a 68 cougar. Half my problem is spelling. I did get most of the GM stuff though.

Is it sick that we can do this?
