I went to the dealership a while ago and I was looking at the picture htey have on their computer of our cars but they only show the few clips that is held on by the nail heads that are on the sides of the car by the c-pillars. I'm looking for the pushin clips though and they said they didn't have htem in stock and htey don't know anything other than what is on the computer.

I already have the clips that go on the side of the car I just need the 8 or so clips that go over the trunk area to hold the metal trim to cover where the vinyl top meets the car.

If no one else knows, have you emailed Dal? So far, he's been able to track down every weird item part # for little things for me, and usually responds back on Sundays as well.

Try him too, I'd say.

Yeah, he's the GM parts god of sorts, and offers good prices on everything big or small as well. If he can't track down the part and details, no one can.

My parts guy said that these clips come as part of the trim panel. My solution was to use the clips for the nail heads and using stainless steel hardware attach the clips to the panels. I used nuts with a nylon inserts so the screws wouldn't back off later. I think the screws were a number 6 by 3/8 long. Take the clip to the store and test fit the head to the clip just to be safe. The screw head will be a little big where the nail head should go but everything snapped back together. Cost was about 3 dollars for the stainless screws and stainless nuts

ISSF is down still, I think. There was a topic that had the part number. :(
I didn't record the part number I don't think - I just checked some files and can't find it. Doh!

I have a few missing & broken clips. I should have recorded that number.

The part number is 20742994. you need 8 of them. its the same for 93 to 96 even though they show the 93 as a different car...

Hi fasst you gave me that part# a few months back and I bought those clips but there's 2 different kinds of clips there's those you mentioned but they are held on by a nail head. The other kind are pushin clips.

The idea that george uhler mentioned seems really good so I'm probably just going to do that. I'll buy some more of the clips I already have.

I dont know if your willing to try again but, i see aother part number that is shown by itself its 10188888. That was one of the fisrt things i had to buy for my car since the rear window was loose and had to be resealed...
