Sup guys... Today the most embarassing thing happened. I was at the Circuit City today with my girl for no more than 15 minutes only to come outside to turn the key and find my car dead... I got a jump from one the employees and went home and parked it. The car won't start again what could the problem be... Battery, Alternator, Starter, Distributor Cap??? Any help is appreciated.

Are there any test to tell what the problem could be and there are no codes shown...

Could be those. A lot of places will test the electrical system for you to see what the problem may be. Ground wiring could also be a problem but check the battery and alternator first. If it started fine with a jump the starter shouldnt be the problem.

It would help if we knew the year, model & engine.

The place to start is the cables at the battery. Clean them and put a corrosion inhibitor on them.

Low-tech will get you everytime.

It is usually the easiest, most obvious thing in the world that goes wrong with our cars - and just as usually, the last place we check out!!

Glad you're back on the road, albeit a C-note lighter in the wallet!

Take care,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Just curious what is the Orginal Battery that comes with the car... I don't know if its Interstate Mega-tron but thats what I had so the guy said Interstate was very good, so I went with it under $80.00 not too bad.

OEM battery should have been A/C Delco.
