I've got a '97 SLS and the headlights will not come on. The twilight sensor will turn on the parking lights, but not the headlights. I can pull the headlamp switch all the way out, but once again only the parking lights come on. I checked the fuses and saw no problems as well as checked the bulbs themselves, but they were not burned out. Next, I disconnected the battery thinking this might reset a computer, but this had no effect either. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance. -digital

I fixed my own problem. A relay next to the fuse box under the hood went bad. I got a $12 replacement part and changed the low beam headlight relay. You can find the location of this relay by looking at the map that is underneath the plastic relay cover. Sure beats paying $85 at the dealer to have them diagnose the problem and then stick me for another $100 to replace the part.
