Folks,

My friend who has a 1998 LeSabre is ready to upgrade to a Deville. His price range would dictate something from 2001-2004. I think he's more of a DHS guy than a DTS guy.

Is any one of those model years one to either stay away from or really seek out?

Go for the 2004 DTS

You get the new air conditioned front seats... 2004 is first year. Feels like you dumped ice in crotch.. cool were you want it when you need it.

Heated steering wheel ... go to Ebay and look at steering wheel on pix of 2004 DTS . on left side of the steering wheel you will see three buttons and the small lower button is HEATED STEERING wheel.

On most all DTS you get the Electronic stability control. Congress has mandated that it be standard on all autos sold in US starting soon 08 or 09? I don't really know.

Prices are very low on these cars 16 - 20K. You can drive one of the best high tech luxury autos and bank the difference from new.
