Have a new rear end on my 04 V with 48k miles on it. Not sure if this is the first or 10th new one in it since I just bought the car. (come to think of it, too bad my wife cant get a new rear end)... anyway, anything I should be aware of with the new rear?? Break in or otherwise things to be aware of?? Prior to the new rear I had a massive clunk especially from first to second and a humm that was massive at 72 and 83 mph. Any advice or things I should watch for would be greatly appreciated in advance.

Get some folks here in the forum to run your VIN and see it's history. That will answer the # of rear question :)
