Seven steps:
1) Raise front wheels off the ground. Turn wheels all the way to the left. Add P/S fluid (best to use GM #1050017) to the COLD mark on the level indicator.
2) Start engine, let idle, recheck fluid level. If needed, refill to COLD mark.
3) System is bled by turning wheels from side to side without hitting stops. Constantly check fluid level to maintain FULL mark. If air remains in the system the fluid will be light tan in color. All air must be removed to restore normal steering.
4) Return wheels to center position, let the engine run for 2-3 minutes.
5) Road test the car.
6) Re-check fluid level, this time making sure it is normal in color and remains near the HOT mark after the system has reached it's normal operating temperature.
7) Crack open a cold one and toast your success! :highfive:
