my 1990 cadillac deville do not have an english/ metric button. So how can i convert back from metric to english?

There's a connector located behind the dash approximately behind the climate control unit that would need to be unplugged.

no the car wasn't purchased like this. I put it in the repair shop, and when i picked it up, it was in metric. I asked the machanic what happend? He said he had no idea.

Ah that happens sometimes. You see both ends of the connector unplugged in the area your working, the assumption is "Whoops, I must have pulled it out" and it gets connected. Has happened a few times to members here. Someone did take pictures of the exact connector and location as brougham said, a search should turn it up if you need some help finding the connector.
