I bought a wood grain climate control module to replace my stock black color module. I don't have a service manual yet (gonna try to get one off ebay or something for $100 or so). I know it may be asking a lot but could someone please look up the procedure to replace the dual climate controle module for a 2001 Seville STS and copy the pages into the tread? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know this forum is an amazing source for great information and I respect everyone who is an active part of it. :)

The link that CadillacETC1997 posted explains how to remove the unit. The climate control unit and the stereo head unit are taken out as a single unit. Then you can remove the old, install the new, and put it back together. Once you remove it, you will understand. The only thing I didn't see (I have the same instruction sheet from my HU swap) was that you need to remove the console wood trim first. That is held in with four clips. Carefully pry it up from the back end first (by the cupholder) and pull it up and out of the way.

Thank You. I looked at the directions but it said nothing about the wood trim. The module I got was actually just wood trim plastic adhered to the module, and very poorly at that. I'll just replace it with a stock module. Thanks again.
