Anyone have experience with these tires from Tire Rack? They're alot cheaper that Goodyear GS D3 or Pilot Sports and they look pretty good. I'm thinking they may be worth a try.

I almost tried them but went with the Avon M550s AS and they are ok. I started to wear those pretty good and went with the GSD3s since they weren't much more than the M500s with some discount I got. I bet the are good for the money but I have been happy with the GSD3s.
What's the worst you do, try for a while and burn'm up to get some other tires.

I'm using the 550ms and have no complants. It takes them awhile to warm up, but are smooth and quit. I will try the 500's next time and go with the 275/40 at the rear.

By the way, I went with 285/35/18 GSD3s in the rear and they look mean and have worn pretty well but I guess that is probably because I don't have that many miles on them yet (couple thousand).
275/40/18 is the way to go in the rear but mine were cheaper in the larger size and that was fine since I plan to throw them in the trash when my lease is up.

I was going to do the GS D3's, but the price difference is really making me think. From what I've seen, the GSD3's are about $1300 versus $700 for the Avon's.

I've got both. Avons A/S for winter and GSD3s for summer.:bouncy:

dumb question - what do you carry in the event of a flat? seems that these are not runflat tires.

Well, I plan to find a spare for the trunk, or risk it.
