I'll be buyin a set of wheels soon and I wanted to hear some feedback from someone who has 22 inch rims. How is the clearence? any problems? rubbing? How the ride? (Rough obviously.) Thanks for the input in advance.

245/30-22 fits fine from what I know. Just make sure you use a 22x8.5" wheel if possible.

Hello,
We use mostly 22" wheels on our cars. The widest you can squeeze in the back is a 22x10 wrapped in either a 285/30/22 or 295/25/22. Even with a 2" drop you will not rub if you get the correct offset. Please give us a call if you need more information.
Thank you,

How is the ride on 22's? Is it really bad or what I want 22s but was settling for 20s just to keep the ride quality.

Hello,
I wouldn't say it is really bad. Keep in mind most of the harsh ride will be quickly absorbed by the factory suspension. The choice is really up to you regarding the wheel size. I think you already know you will loose a little ride quality, but over all it still looks good. For a comparison we have images of our Silver STS outfitted with our new 20 1-piece wheel.
Thank you,

22's ride fine a little rough but what do you expect with a 30 series tire. why ride 20's when you can roll dub duces on a car??

While I think that 20s to 22's look HOT on the STS (I have 20's) I think that they are reserved for areas or cities with decent streets. With the amount of rubber on my 20's between the street and the rim...I have been in the "BEND SHOP" twice and I only have 11K miles on my car...maybe it's me..or just the streets of Baltimore.
