The 2007s are about to come out, if not already out. I did a search on autotrader. I saw never owned 2005 STS, like 85 of them with v8s. It this true and how much are they discounting them if they are?
Are the cars still any good since they have not really been driven in years?

Nothing wrong with a car. It will still have the factory warranty if its never been titled to boot. Sounds like a good buy if you ask me.

I'm in Chicago and one of our dealerships was advertising 12 new never titled 2005 Cadillac STS as part of a special purchase. Where have these things been sitting all this time?

I wonder how much they are going for.

Its pretty normal. When the Infiniti I35 and Mazda Millenia were discontinued, brand new cars were still being sold years after the factory stopped making them.

I heard there were 2002 Q45s STILL sitting on dealer lots in the US.

ALLEN65: What dealer in Chicago was advertising these 05' new STS's? I'd like to look into it.

BENJAMIN SIMON: That was a pretty neat discovery on your part. Never would have thought going back to 05' search criteria. Aren't most of them
V-6's however? I wonder what price they're willing to sell these at and whether or not GM has a SPECIAL incentive for the dealers to sell them retail?

Which dealer has these?

Automotive News shows rebates for 2005's, so there are some out there. Embarassing, isn't it?

Grossinger Auto Group (http://tinyurl.com/lu9h6)
Grossinger in the Chicago area has many 05s. At one time the price was $12,000 off the sticker (not off GMS). They are still not moving.

Yes, the dealer is Grossinger Cadillac in Northbrook IL.

THANKS allen65. You imagine how much floor plan monies Grossinger has paid on these units? Maybe he's been buying them throughout the US for whatever reason I do not know.

allen 65. Just did some research via a buddy of who has been in the used car business for 30+ years now. Take the white $59K+ unit and this is what he threw out at me. Worth about $35K on a trade in, $40K third party transaction and about $45K retail (which is about what they're asking). An 06' (same sticker) this past summer could be had for around $47K when the rebates were $7K.

I just got my 05 v6 with crome polished wheels and exhaust tips, the upgrade interior package & airbags without nav or acc for $37,000 TT&L walkout certified to 100k with GAP coverage and the security gaurd that gives me $5k if she's stolen with only 3000 miles on it.

I may be making much adeu about the options but...

I'm thinking I did fairly well.
