Here are the results from last nights outing. Not what I was hoping for, but I am not dissapointed as this was the first trip to the track with the car, and the Nitrous kit gave me problems all night. Only got 2 passes where the kit actually worked for me...

Car weighed in at 4000 lbs on the dot with driver, half tank, and full bottle. Air temp was 92 degrees. This was on my 19" street tires, and with more practice I am sure I can get the 60' down to atleast a 2.0

Next track day is Sept. 2 I am thinking of going back on drag radials to see if I can get the 60's in the 1.8 range. Only a matter of time and a little luck from the rear end god's and this thing will be in the 11's.

I have some video's of the run that I will post once I get a chance to rip it.

a 2.0 60' will put you in the 11s.

Thanks !, congrats on being the first V in the 11's, you deserve it as you have been the leader and so close for some time !

Drag radials on order Monday :), I have a set of stock rims waiting in the garage. Hopefully I can get a nice size on them, gonna have to do some research

You'll have to wait for cool weather, cut some weight, and jet up your nitrous. So you can be the first in the 10s

You're stuck with BFG drag radials in either 245/40/18 or 265/40/18 (recommended) with stock wheels. Only thing available

Very nice time, but damn that trap speed! NOS really does deliver cheap thrills, doesn't it? Laugh on!

Thanks everyone ! I am not really :( about my time, but really would have liked to have post an 11 sec time slip instead :)

oh well, all in time, and for those asking that was on the 150 shot.

by the next track day, i should have the drag radials and maybe a few more things ironed out. with a 122 trap speed, I hope to be posting some deep 11 time slips, everyone pray for my rear diff please :worship:

Great run!!! I love your trap speed!!!! I'm using Nitto Drag radials....haven't been to the track this year......fricking rear-end scares me.....stshkr has a line lock to help warm up the rubber.....(I think that helps with the 60' time). Keep it up guys......IMO 10's won't happen without MAJOR mods.....11's are great though.

10's..........never happen! (he says, thinking about a shot of NOS, some big time engine work, a 9 inch Ford diff, real slicks, roll cage, modifed suspension, wheel stands, wheelie bars, etc, etc, etc)

I found that the 265/40/18's worked best. They're going on stock rims, right? Let me know how they work out.

yes they will be on stock rims for now... I don't have the Torque that you do off the line, so I chose the 275/35 since its a little shorter tire. It will give me close to a 3.90 final drive ratio and hopefully allow me to use a little more RPM and a little less clutch off the start.
