:halo: I found this website on another thread and it looks really interesting.

GM LOCKPICK (http://www.coastaletech.com/GMLOCKPICK.htm)

Has anyone actually tried it?? If so, could it damage the vehicle, void the warranty, is it hard to install and does it actually work???

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance for your input!

First, welcome to the forum! :welcome: There are plenty of lockpicks for the 2002 - 2006 model Escalade. Your local dealership should be able to do it for you as well. My local dealership has been doing these lockpicks for a while and it is a small switch that unlocks the navigation while in motion. Seems great.

Thanks.

You are absolutely right. those interfaces do have problems with volume control and some other audio functions. I installed them for some of my customers, and there were some issues. so far, tried 3 different brands. they worked ok on tahoes and gmc's, but not on escalades. right now testing one from a different company. let you guys know how did it go

Have done one 07 secalade with the lockout and gave full control of dvd, nav phone kit and xm. The problem with the volume is if you go through the functions to quick and then get out of lockout mode the volume could freeze for a second. Have another coming in for same piece plus another 20 grand of upgrades.

sounds like serious project you are doing.
I only worked with first generation of ARC amps, good stuff. don't know nothing about latest ones. I used Rainbow components with ARC, it was good combination. customers were pleased. one of the rep from arc gave me one of their pieces to tune gains and x overs. that was fun

Let me get this straight... can you just press the window lockout button ONCE, and have full control over everything the entire ride, or do you have to press it everytime you want to unlock XM, or NAV, or whatever?
