So after finishing the box, I felt I could do just about anything. So I threw out the nasty old kick panels and made my own. Below is the drivers side. Ill get a better digital pic soon.

Also built tweeter pods that will have a gucci and LED insert, they will go on the pillars by the windshield. You can see it painted in black, Im so happy I didnt think it would come out so smooth, looks like a mirror!

Oh, and the box hit 150.8 db last week on the meter. Nothing special but not bad for 1st time build. Gained a few db's by changing the head unit, these 15 inch directed woofers hammer hard.

That looks great. :worship: Congratulations. I'm a little confused because I thought you said you were selling your Escalade? I have respect for the fact that you do your own work, but isn't this all a waste of time and money if your selling it?

Thanks.

Yeah, I see what youre saying. Honestly I love this truck, but like anything else I own, its for sale for the right price. I dont have to sell it, but if someone comes to me with an offer I cant refuse, its gone. But until then, it will be baby'd and I will keep working on it.

I just bought a house 2 months ago (if you recall), its on the market already. I still water the grass and upgrade little things here and there. No loss. Everything is for sale for the right price, anytime.

how will you keep from putting your foot through that?It looks like its in the way, but it really isnt. Im quite comfortable driving with it. And it sounds GREAT, so much better than the generic one I had. Nice to have an actual enclosure.

Yeah...you get used to the kick panels there. Only thing is when passengers ride in your car you have to tell them not to step on your kicks!! Especially with Gucci fabric.
