Well, I'm looking to setup a South Florida Escalade Get Together this year, but I don't know if there are enough South Florida Escalade owners. We had a Cadillac get together last year, but I was the only one who showed in an Escalade. Kind of disappointing. I want to know if anyone would be interested who is from Florida? All Escalade owners are welcome, but I highly doubt anyone is going to drive from a different state. Haha! Please let me know.

I was hoping to use a dealership. We used a dealership last year for the Cadillac meet, but as I said, I was the only one to bring an Escalade and I was pretty bored after a while due to the fact that I was waiting and hoping that other Escalade's would come. The dealership we had the event at was Ed Morse Bayview Cadillac and they were generous to us and let us use one of their parking lots. I would consider doing it at a park or near the beach somewhere and I am open to suggestions. If there is a way to get those Escalade owners who are at the speed shop in the know about the meet, that would be great. I am interested to see if they are interested. So far, we have only about three people who are somewhat interested, and that is definitely not enough.

It becomes more and more popular within the day. I am going to start a list. Maybe this event will take off. Would everyone rather have it near a beach where we can all meet up and hang out or have it at a dealership? Keep in mind, this is still in the planning stage, so nothing has been finalized yet.

Well it looks like I'm getting my ESV today, so.. We can almost count me in.. I mean, if I get it - I'll go.. I don't want to totally jinx myself.. I think I'd prefer a dealership because we're surrounded by other Cadillacs. :p The beach may be too hot (for me). :p I don't know.. I'll deal with whatever decision we make...

This morning i got a interesting call from my friend and client (gio 06 esc) about this conversation and i was excited to chat to you guys about it, and hopefully give some ideas to the meet. I own a strictly GM shop Specializing in HUMMER and cadilliac, and as gio can tell you i dont hesitate to help others with tech questions or problems. I think the meet is a great idea, for example i host HUMMER H1 meetings for quite some time now. so i got to say that i have some experiance getting people together and cordinating the events. I think a dealership is a boring idea am pretty sure that why one of you ended up there by your own. our first h1 meeting i held in the shop, it was a great turn out. we had 13 h1 show up i baught food, soda and wine, i have to say it was fun because we all hung out and taslked about each others trucks and experences till 12am. Next month we are planning a trip, maybe get together in the shop and head down to the florida keys for lunch or something. That would be more interesting then hanging out at some dealers while they are waiting to close at 9pm and screw you with something.

I actually have 22's on already.. I think if I do any mods right away, it'll be to get rid of the custom grille I've got - in place for a stock Platinum grille, exhaust and a super charger. These are all just pipe dreams unless I can come up with the money, however. :p

Oh, and tint.. I need limo-tint all-around first - and 40% on the front windshield...

I know i have been trying to make the time to sign up as a vendor but the days are so short when you run a shop. we open from 8am to 8 pm its not easy

Adrian, I am pretty close to Miami and I would come meet with you for lunch some time if you would like or come to your shop to talk about a meet when you get a chance. I am about 35 to 40 minutes from Miami. It's not too bad. Would you want to meet up to consider setting this whole event up? You, Gio, and I could all meet at this shop you guys talk about. Haha!
