hi, yet another question searching hasn't answered for me.

i have the PAC aai-gm24 for audio, and installing that was a breeze.......just tapped power on the factory harness for that.

but with my VCI-GM2 video unit.......can i just tap the same wire on the factory radio harness again? or do i need to run a completely different power wire from something else?

well heres the deal.. i have a similar unit for the ext.. basically you replace the ribbon in the factory nav.. if the pac unit doesnt have power than the factory nav doesnt look normal.. it is missling colors and is faded.. i hooked mine on a switch in case i every get pulled over by the cops for having tv in the front.. if you are not worried about that then just hook it up to any power source that comes on when the vehicle is turned on.. you can also just tap the same wire in the harness that you already did... up to what kind of setup you are looking for..
