I drive a 87 brougham with the 307 olds. While driving my car I have been having odd heistation while normal driving at random speeds. mostly higher speeds 40-60. I need to change the oil and tranny fluid and I will see if this problem still occurs. If you could please place some input on what you may think the problem could be.

Check your transmission fluid level. It might be minor, but it is likely to be transmission-related.

I had the tranny flushed and changed the u joints cause they were still the originals but it still does it. Feels like its stumbling a bit at 40-60 mph (like yours) and is especially bad with more than one passenger in the car. Let me know if you figure the prob out with yours and I'll do the same if I figure it out. BTW: Mine is an 87 with 307 as well.

Ok well I found out pretty da*n quick what that hesitation was. Ok well my story begain yesterday (v day) and I had just gone on a date with this chick and didn't get anything not even a kiss *rolls eyes*. I had a slight stutter while driving to the movies from her house to the movies. I droped her off got about 3 yards and my car just dies so I am like WTF!:banghead: . so I check battery (good), ignition (good) getting air (good) getting fuel (BAD). I had just replaced my fuel filter about 3 days ago and knew that it wasn't that. so It had to be either a restriction in the fuel lines or bad fuel pump. So after spended a good 2 hours outside in the snow in this chicks driveway I replaced the fuel pump (after getting my dad to drive me to the parts store the next day cause I had to work and just left my car at her house). I am not saying that this will fix your problem but that is what fixed mine :welcome:
Oh by the way if you have the non fuel injected v8 your got a external fuel pump like me and cost about 16 bucks to get new for the cheapy one lol

Maybe you didn't get the kiss because of the hesitation. You should try again now that that the pimp daddy caddy is back othe road...
