i am thinking of doing this mod to my truck.. the vent visors painted to match my truck.. i was just wondering if anyone can tell if these are in channel or not.. i dont see any black lining no the top of them which makes me think they are not the in channel ones but i dont know if the in channel ones block that black lining out.. thanks for any input..
also.. whats everyones take on the actual truck.. part of me thinks the truck is badass looking.. but part of me feels likes its too much..

Too much for me! The only body kit I like that I have seen on the Escalade was the Lexani kit. It's obviously the most expensive one, but I think it is very clean and the look is amazing. To each his own, but this is not for me.
Thanks.

Those are not the in channel ones. I have the in channel ones and they look different from the outside. I don't have a good pic of them the post, but I got them from weathertech.com
Edit - maybe you can see it in this pic:

Personally all the kits for the Escalade look like dog poo. Even the Lexani kit looks kind of funky. I think if someone were to mod the running boards to be retractable (saw this on a proto executive edition escalade) and make the rear bumper blend in with the body (like the '07) it would look super clean.
In channel or out channel, this look is not my cup of tea - ever.

slk230mb... do the in-channel ones you have ever fall?
Or has anybody ever had the in-channel visors fall out on them? I wanna get a set but have the fear that they won't hold as well as the out-channel ones. How do they mount anyway?

i was driving and saw a pair of the out channel ones and one was dangling.. i heard the inchannel ones hold better but im not positive.. they hold using tape on the inside of the weatherstripping or something..

My vent visors have never fallen out, ever, and I've had mine for 3 years. The fronts just sit in the channel, and are a pressure fit. They go on the top and front side of the window channel (part near the mirror). The rears are held in place with 2 clips that tuck in under the weather stripping. If you want I'll take more detailed pics.
You could plow snow in the winter with that front end. :(
i dont see a single vent visor in any pic,
i think im confused on what it is. please explain
oh i get what they are now,
yeah paint them if you can

Body kit and front bumper are awful.
