Hello guys,

I have a question about the 1991 Brougham Fleetwood, (I am not talking about the 91 Brougham D'Elegance), did the Fleetwood model come with a Twilight Sentinel or this feature was an option or it is standard in any 1991 Brougham.

What are the main interior features for the 91 Brougham D'Elegance that the 91 Brougham Fleetwood does not have?

Thank you guys!!!

Typicall, across all years the only thing that the D'Elegance package added was an upgraded seating package that included a pillow and button look. It was available either in cloth or leather. There was also a badge or 2 included just to signify that the package was there. No other options were included other than the seating trim.

Twilight Sentinel has always been standard equipment on the Brougham package, at least since the 70's.

The '91 Brougham Catalog lists Twilight Sentinel in the option packages, along with the auto trunk pull-down and lighted visor mirrors. Most every one of these cars that I have seen has these options and they are standard on the D'Elegance.

Other available features include locking fuel filler door, theft deterrent, auto-dimming rearview mirror, CD player, power sunroof, and leather seats.

The D'Elegance has special scripts on the door panels and on the exterior of the car, along with the buttoned leather or cloth seats. There are also pull handles over the doors, but that is about all that distinguishes the D'Elegance.

Exterior options include the gold ornamentation and spoke wire rims (not wheel covers). I would not choose either of these if given the choice.

Hope this helps.

There is no Brougham Fleetwood. It's just Brougham or Brougham D'Elegance.

The Brougham D'Elegance has different seats and is supposed to have some handles in the interior that the Brougham doesn't. Like cadillacjack01 said there are also some things that were standard on the Brougham D'Elegance that were optional on the Brougham. The other things like leather seats and dimming mirror were optional on both.

Mine came with the factory wire wheels. I like them better then the hubcaps.

I had those factory wire wheels on mine also. They came with the car. But with age and mileage, the wires bend and the wheels will not stay balanced. Cadillac told me this happens to all of them eventually. I also couldn't find replacement center caps that exactly fit the wheels, GM said they aren't made anymore and the ones in the junkyard looked worse than mine.

Now I think that the spoke wire rims look great on the car, but they just don't wear well. To have them repaired is very expensive as are new spoke rims. I still have the old rims collecting dust in the garage, but I switched to steel wheels and wheel covers. Much easier, cheaper, and less trouble. Not to mention that they are original for the year/model and if one gets damaged, just replace it.

I didn't mean to go on and on off topic, just reason why I don't recommend these spoke wheels.

I had an 87 Brougham without twlight sentenal and without a trunk pull down motor. Only cadillac i've ever seen without a pull down. I feld weird slamming the trunk of a cadillac. So these must be options.
