View Full Version : Stock grill - how much/best place to sell? schmiot 08-09-06, 03:32 PM Hey all,
I put on a v-grill and now have the old grill to get rid of. It's in perfect shape, with emblem, off an '04. What would it be worth and what would the best place to sell it be?
Thanks,
Robin. dynalub 08-09-06, 03:36 PM Hi, Not worth much,Check Ebay for adverage price then list. TOM Flyin-Ryan 08-09-06, 03:48 PM I'll give you 20 bucks for it ILLMATIK 08-09-06, 04:03 PM 20 Bucks is about the most you'll get. Maybe you can get $50 if someone's really desperate. I sold mine for $10. While we're on the subject of grills- i REALLY REALLY REALLY wanna put the bigger escalade emblem on the V-Grill, how would i do this IT HAS to be possible. Their is more than enough space in the middle of the grill for it to go their. The only problem i can think of is that the emblem on the v-grill is kind of like embedded on, so when you take off the emble it still has it's "footprint". Can we adjust this? Flyin-Ryan 08-10-06, 10:38 AM How does 20 sound? Depending on shipping I guess. I do have a lead on one here. RobertCTS 08-10-06, 10:57 AM Here's 3 on Ebay

$35 including S&H sounds fair if someone wants one. schmiot 08-10-06, 11:18 AM I'm in Canada so cost to ship to the US would probably be $35, hahaha.
Thanks for the advice, I'll try to sell local first and in the meanwhile I'll figure out what shipping would cost.
Thanks again,
Robin CadillacSTS2003 08-10-06, 11:38 AM if i were you id hold on to it throw it on when you plan to trade in and sell your v grill then. youll make alot more money that way and theres a horrible aftermarket for cadillacs with mods msantoro 08-17-06, 10:01 PM Im located in toronto....ill give u $20 for it.. I think I still have my stock 04 grille (without emblem) in the basement. Anyone can have it for whatever it costs to ship it. (Assuming I still have it.) Drop me a PM if interested. Hmmm..FREE is a good price guys! TagApl4 08-18-06, 08:44 AM i REALLY REALLY REALLY wanna put the bigger escalade emblem on the V-Grill, how would i do this IT HAS to be possible. If the escelade emblem is bigger wouldn''t you have to make this "footprint" larger so the new emblem will fit. So it seems to me it is more of a matter of accurately making a larger indentation to set the emblem without that looking odd. Being larger It shouldn't be to hard. The 3M foam double side tape might work best in this applicatiom. ILLMATIK 08-18-06, 09:36 AM Being larger It shouldn't be to hard. The 3M foam double side tape might work best in this applicatiom.
I'll mention that to my body shop people when i go get the v side skirts painted and installed next week or so. I hope they tell me how ridiculously easy it is to do it, because it would look so cool. I love how the new Lexus cars have the bigger L, this would look great on the CTS.
