Where in Ontario Canada (GTA) can I found a used 17inch stock rim?

I hit mine hard yesterday and wrecked it?

Any idea on a deal cost? I would much rather get a used one to save costs, baby is due any day...

I assume you've been checking eBay - Autos, Used Cars, Motorcycles, Boats, Trucks, Parts, Accessories, RVs and Other Vehicles - buy and sell on eBay Motors - Microsoft Internet Explorer (http://www.ebaymotors.com) ? There are also wrecking yard searches websites.

How bad did you hit it? I bent my 17 a few months back in a pot hole and everyone told me they couldn't fix it and cadi wanted $600 for a new one. I found one on ebay for about $220 (mine was the polished ones so it was alittle more then the regular one) but then one place gave me a number to a place that refurbishes wheeles. They sent it out for a week to be worked on somewhere and it came back looking great and I have no problems with it so far. it only cost $180 (again even less if yours isn't polished) The place was called hub cap heaven, I think it is a chain but not sure if it is in Canada. If it's not too bad though I would ask around for a specialty store that can fix them. I also chose to do that because the ebay one would have also required me to pay to get it mounted and balanced. Hope that helps.

Defintley check ebay. I just bought a 17" polished wheel, brand new in the GM Box for $125. If they dont have it there try Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market (http://www.car-part.com). They will defintley have it, look to spend between 100-150 tops.

I have a polished one I'll sell you for shipping costs ONLY. Do you need a polished 17" rim. I bought it off ebay to use as my spare, but never did it.

If he doesn't need it I would buy it off of you, I bought my car used and a large scrape on 1 rim was the only mark I could find on the car. It looks like the previous owner scraped a curb or something. Let me know if he doesn't need or want a polished one. Thanks.

Well thanks for the input guys! I went out this morning and bought a new set of polioshed rims! They look great! GM wanted 900 for one, so I went to the local rim shop and got four new blingtastic rims for a grand installed.

If anyone is interested in buying three polished 17inch stockers let me know!

Thanks again.

Ill probably hang on to mine for now, if I change my mind I'll let you know.

How much you want for the 3 17's? I may be interested.

Congrats on the new blingtastic wheels. Now, clean up those 3 17" wheels and keep them in the basement. Watch this forum for others that will have the same problem you did. Sell them off for $300 cdn each and recoup your cost for the new wheels. You'll also be a hero to three forum members.

(Blingtastic? Is that one of those Canadianisms like chesterfield? Sorry, couldn't resist.)

Riggidy, I think the cost of shipping to IL from Toronto might make it not worth your time. If you are really interested let me know and we can likely work something out.

C5 Rv, great idea and yes Blingtastic is a Canadianism eh! It is the same as blingtacular!

Is shipping from Canada expensive? I wasn't aware of that. Send me an email of what you think it might cost to ship and what you want for the wheels. jsrank15@yahoo.com
