upon opening the center console i noticed that there are two small notches on each side,they appear to be there for a reason,anyone know why? thanx:confused:

I have a big assed Blackberry phone (for work), which I leave in the center armrest console when not at work. I use the notches that you are talking about to run my charger wire through, so I can closse the top completely. I plug the charger into the rear auxillary port. I am not positive that is what they (the notches) are for, but it works for me.
