From my experience with two FWB's and what I've heard on this forum, it is all too common for a usage tear to happen on the outer edge of the drivers seat in the leather. My question to everyone is: What is the best way to fix, cover up, stop, deal with this problem short of spending hundreds of dollars to have the whole seat custom recovered???

If its not too big I would look into getting some of that leather patch stuff, kinda like a putty that you spread on.. An upholstery shop might be able to do the same procedure..
I would like this method better than recovering because you could make that little spot a lot thick to reduce tearing.....

The part of the seat cover that tears is vinyl, not leather.
I'm thinking of removing the cover and having a matching piece of viyl sewn over it, while re-enforcing the underside.
I would't use the As Seen On TV miracle fix. That will last all of about two days.
