$900,000 worth of teddy bears? Something just ain't right in our value system.

I'm sure they were insured. Some people have really misplaced their priorities!

lol, I just find this funny. For $900,000 worth of teddy bears, you would think they would maybe protect them better.

Yeah, they wanted them protected so much, they hired a security guy and his guard dog!

Too bad it was a Dobey - everybody knows it shoulda been a Hound dog.

I wonder if "I'm just your teddy bear" was playing at the time?

Nobody has a comment about the wolf tending the sheep?

I've had plenty of dogs that went berzerk at the sight of a stuffed toy. That's how they train drug dogs, hide the stuff inside a toy they love, then they get excited and attack it.

It's a shame but I think it's pretty funny.

My dog slaughtered my Gentle Ben bear in 1974. I was beyond "that age", but I still kept him on a shelf. I didn't know whether to cry or just throw him away and act like nothing happened.

In 1997 my then-girlfriend found a Gentle Ben on eBay. She gave him to me for my birthday.

I married her eight years ago today. ;)
