That sucks, but to be perfectly honest, it's not that bad. It looks as though you rear ended someone? I had a similar incident in December that damaged the same body panels, but far more extensively.

molotovman5000, what happened?

08-02-06, 01:19 PM
long story short
i was driving listening to music, all of the sudden the lady infront of me slams on her brakes, i try to stop, but could not, so bam it happened, i was like WTF!!!! waited for like 20 seconds, was gonna get out of my car when i see an ambulance pass, the ambulance was like 3 blocks down the road when she braked, not to mention we ended up in the center of the intercection, so the ambulance had to go around us. she could had kept goin but no she had to slam on the brakes, i only had liability insurance, so i went behind her to see where she was gonna pull in, she kept drivin for about a minute, so i decided to get next to her to see if she was fine, and when i got next to her she turned right and left, so i was like F*ck it so yeah any one wanna give me any estimates on what the damage might cost???
BTW she was driving an old blazer, so no damage to her

A friends sister rear ended a Toyota Tacoma in her Saturn L200 doing 10 mph. She totaled her Saturn out, no kidding! She bent the hood way up and knocked the front bumper off. LOL Saturns suck!
Not a scratch anywhere on that Toyota though.

It wasn't totaled, and it wasn't stolen..... I'd say you are in good shape.

Really tho, the damage isn't too bad.... I even have a new '97-'99 base DeVille grille back at the house in NY....

just a matter of putting the puzzle back together.

Been there.

I'm finally getting around to actually fixing the oil pan (which hit a median and has a gaping hole in it) the right way. I'm through about step 9 in the '49 easy steps to transmission removal' per the FSM.

So be glad it's relatively minor.
