The V guys might know about this but...heard from an insider today that Cadillac is planning a CTS-V widebody version in 2008. Anyone else heard of this or have any other thoughts on this??

NO, I mean an actual widetrack suspension like Pontiac went to with the Gran Prix.

marketing ploy... I don't think the CTS can get much wider. The suspension of the CTS is what makes it the shiznit.

You are thinking of the cts-superV. experimental car, slated for the last year of the V before we switch to the new body style. Its fenders are wider to fit big tires and a widened suspension.

Maybe it will look similar to the CTS-VR with the fenders pushed out.
