Went a week ago, been uploading the pix ever since. The GTO concept is absolutely bad-ass! Simply amazing! I have it on video, scoll down to the bottom for videos. I actually got to touch an XLR-V, an LS-7, and a ZR-1. '89 Trans-Am 20th edition Turbo was one of the finest vehicles I've ever seen. Best car there IMHO, '70 Buick GS 455 Stage 1 Ram Air. I got a few videos of Dyno runs, an '87 Monte Carlo SS with a blown 454 and a '71 Grand Prix with a tree-trunk for a cam.
85 Pix, and like 10 videos. Videos at the bottom. The video of the GTO concept was while the GM dude was cold-revving it. Said he would only take it to 6 or 6 and a half grand while she was cold, but "who knows how high I'll take her later today when she's warm!" The XLR-V is one of the finest pieces of machinery I've seen out of Detroit in a long time! Such a beautiful color red, such good quality and craftsmanship! All in all, a simply phenominal day! I'd upload everything, but it took me a week to do 85 pix, I don't wanna think how long it would take to do 250! Rest of the pictures and videos here:

Damnit! I wanted to go, but my friends were dying to go up north, so I went with them instead! I always loved seeing the stuff that the Impala SS club of MN brought. Did you by chance see the triple black '72 Mark IV that is slightly modded? It was there the last two years I went.

Love that '65 GTO. Not a terribly big 'Vette fan, but I sure wish I had my '65 back..small block, factory pipes and knock-offs, vert...and of course...red. That GS is sweet, too. Maybe one, if not the best, sleeper GM ever made. Seen them blow off many Chevelle's, 442's and GTO's back then!

The '65 Goat is more special than you guys know! IF (assuming) the paint is original......... then.......

It's 1 of 100 made in "Tiger Gold" that were made as gifts to the top 100 Pontiac sales performers in 1964, nationwide. Each of the top 100 Pontiac Dealers recieved 1 Tiger Gold GTO (2-Dr Hartops and/or Convertibles) ~ as a "gift" ~ the "Gift" part was because PMD knew that each dealer would sell their for window sticker and thereby reap a windfall profit on THAT car.

My $$ says that's a Tiger Gold original Gift Car ! Very Very nice - Exhaust splitters are another giveaway to it's being a Tiger Gold original. If not, a darn good copy. The rims are not the original.

WAIT. 2nd look....No, not original. BLACK Firewall & Hood Hinges. If original they'd be Tiger Gold, too. (Sorry)

Still, even being a restoration, whoever did it realized the significance of "tiger gold" and made a very well educated paint selection.

It looks great. I love mid-60's Pontiacs. My parents had a '64 Tempest when I was born, followed by a '68 Tempest and a '69 LeMans wagon. I always liked the '69 Bonneville and Catalina.

The last Pontiac we ever had was a '75 Grand Prix with a 400 in it and a 4 bbl.

By the way, Ruthie looks pretty hot too. We need more pics of her. ;)

I didn't see this particular Lincoln, but there looks to be about a 66, maybe 67 brown Continental in the pictures, that was the only Lincoln I saw besides a few Mark VIII's. The guys from MineSSota.com were pretty cool, the one guy there with his triple-black Fleetwood unfortunately wasn't around to talk to. I was gonna mention this site, but he was doing the same thing I was doing, looking at all the sweet rides!
