: turning off traction control on '95 sts

I have a '95 seville sts and there is no button for t/c disable. I read this on another post by CadillacETC1997

"np man best thing to do is power brake at 2500 rpms and keep her in 2nd with t.c ON. if your obd-2

the kewl thing about ur car being its obd-1 which you have you can turn your t/c off by hacking into the dic and keep 1st gear! im sure that would help with your 1/4s"

How would someone perform this hack and what does he mean by keep 1st gear.

Did you check in your glove box? My 95 SDV and 83 Eldo (ex) both have
the button to disable traction there.

Another thing is that you can feed signals from front wheels to the rear speed sensing sensor input to the PCM. There are 2 wires to a sensor. All you need is to make a little harness with switch to fool the PCM that rear wheels are running at the same speed as the front. It was said that the sensor output is strong enough to feed both front and rear inputs to the PCM.

yes but a hack seems so much easier.
