Well I'll be boarding a plane very early tomorrow for a vacation week in San Diego. The wife and I are taking the kiddo to the SD Zoo, a drive through safari thing, and Sea World. The kiddo loves animals and "shish"....aka fish. I paid to fly my parents out too, so it should be a nice vacation.

Any suggestions about were to go or good places to eat?

I don't know much about SD, but not too far from there is LegoLand in Carlsbad just north of SD (depending on how old your kid(s) is(are) it could be a nice place for you to visit as well....

When my nephew visited me a year ago we also went down to San Diego and I took him to LegoLand, he loved the whole trip!!!

The San Diego Wild Animal Park north of the city is fantastic. A tram takes you out into their habitats.

Also, if you're in Southern California, check out In N Out Burger. Great burgers and fries and dirt cheap.

Mmmm...In-N-Out burger........

If your anywhere in the vacinity of the San Diego Zoo, there's a really funky car museum, right next to this cool aerospace museum somewhere around there. They've got a tucker, and some bad ass vintage hotrods, and mustang, and motorcycles a stuff. Don't really remember exactly where it was, maybe somewhere near this old worlds fair place or something like that.

I have a B/W picture hanging in my office of myself standing in front of a Tucker! It was in a car museum in Reno that liquidated a few months later. I wonder who got that beauty. As I recall it was sort of a metallic green.
