DC's employee pricing has made the affordable SRT-8's even moreso. Here's the base prices after all rebates:

300C SRT-8 = $38,812
Charger SRT-8 = $34,641
Magnum SRT-8 = $34,344

Prices good through the end of the month!

Why is the magnum and charger so much less? They are basically the same right?

I believe they're so much cheaper just because it's a Dodge v. a Chrysler. You can't have the lower brand be as expensive as the upper brand.

Cakewalk pricing, and there will a lot more of them on streets with such pricing bargains.

Supply & Demand
More demand for the 300C than for the Magnum or Charger.
Want the most common ? Get a Black 300C - SRT,
want the rarest? Get a Magnum SRT-8 in Silver !

I'd take the Magnum with Cargo Org. Group
Group II
MoonRoof
Side Air Bags
Hood Strobe Stripe

Silver > Charcoal Leather

Agreed Sandy. I saw the Brilliant Black it was all over for me. I haven't seen a metalflake paint job that I lusted after since the 1978 World of Wheels in Detroit! I went with:

Opt. I
Opt. II
Kicker sound system
Sunroof

Makes me smile everyday. 14,500+ trouble free, abusive as hell driving and she's still kickin'!

My next car will be an SRT-8, no question about it. I will probably opt for the Magnum though, I can use the extra cargo space plus I think it looks cool. The Charger SRT comes in a real close second. I just dont like the 300 for some reason.

Wow CVP! You rack up those miles. I think you and my Dad got your SRT-8s around the same time and he has 4,200 miles on his Brilliant Black SRT-8 Charger :)

My next car is my Dad's SRT-8 Charger.. hopefully he will hold onto it long enough for me to buy it from him!

If I was to ever get an SRT-8 in a car, (opposed to a SRT-8 Grand Cherokee or a SRT-10 Ram) it would be the Charger, and then the 300C and lastly the Magnum. I don't get the point of a Magnum, and I don't particularly care for the 300's looks.

I don't get the point of a Magnum.I dont either but its there, it looks pretty cool and its got cargo room for strollers, luggage, groceries. I'm hoping a lot of people feel as you do cause it will bring the resale down well below the Charger's and 300's.

Station wagons used to be the norm before SUVs. And I hope they come back and take a lot of the SUV sales with it.

As for me, give me a black Magnum SRT-8 with the factory blaked out windows! Saw one on I-495 this week and it was stealthy!

Here's a couple. Imagine the ride height about an inch lower. I put Hotchkis sways and KW adjustable coilovers on about 2 months ago but haven't taken any pics lately.

It's amazing how they made such a throw-up-in-your-mouth, butt ugly POS into such a mean looker. The front spoilers, hood scoop, wheels and wing really make that car look good. I hate the standard Charger with almost all of my being.

Took another picture today after I got her all cleaned up again. It's hard to tell from the pic but it is actually 1" lower.

Nice! Sits about as low as the stock Charger SRT-8.

The Magnum has the lowest Co / Drag plus the lightest weight factor. With the 6.0 Hemi, what does that all add to?
The 300C Chryslers are all over here in Jersey. They really are selling. The Chargers have 2nd place locked in. The Magnums are a distant 3rd. It's (probably) great fun to take the unsuspecting and whip 'em in a Dowdy "Station Wagon" I also like the flowing lines of the roof as it drops lower towards the back. Silver Metallic with Charcoal Leather and the Black Strobe Striping on the hood with the Mother-Mopar aftermarket chromed deep dish rims !

Or, should I get a Mustang GT Convert., in the new Grabber Orange - Loaded, of course! - ??:bigroll:

Seriously, they will have that big car ride you like albeit a bit harsher plus it will blow away a Mustang in a race. And it will be cheaper than the Mustang. How can you go wrong?.

Someone predicted months and months ago (maybe Blakout) that Crysler would start to offer big rebates on the SRT 8 lines. There was an initial rush on the latest and greatest thing....but it won't be lobng until they can't give these gas guzzlers away.

Not bashing BTW, I like the SRT 8 vehicles.

That SRT-8 Charger is a HOT car, and is the only DCX car I'd look at.

Out of all of them I want the 300 or the Charger. I hate the way the Magnums look and there isn't even that much room in the back of them.

The charger SRT-8s look simply MENACING in a rear view mirror, especially in black. I'd love to drive that car. The exhaust note sounds great too.

Isn't it amusing that we ALL agree that we like the SRT-8's?. This does not happen often. I for one did not like the Charger when it came out and I still dont but in SRT-8 trim it looks killer!. Much like an Impala SS vs. Caprice I suppose. The ugliness of a 91-96 Caprice never did grow on me but I still like the look of an SS. Go figure.

I'd be driving a 300c SRT8 if not for the lack of a spare tire, or even run flats. Only the Cherokee SRT8, has run flats - the 300c, Magnum and Charger have some goo and an air compressor in the trunk.

Anybody on here that owns one use it as a daily driver without a spare??

The 2006 300C SRT-8 has been my daily driver with no spare for 14,500 trouble free miles. My spare-less 2004 CTS-V was driven 25,000+ miles and my spare-less 2005 CTS-V was driven 28,000+ miles all with no tire issues. Now if I could've carried a spare rear differential, I may have been better served.

I've been driving mine for about a year now with no issues. Having tire pressure monitoring certainly helped the one time I picked up a nail. It allowed my to detect the pending flat, and I drove straight to Discount Tire for the repair.

I can't help but disagree with those that think the Magnum does not have cargo space - they have 71.7cf. Compare that to a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer at 80.1! If you don't understand the Magnum, then there is no way me or anyone else could possibly explain it to you.

Beautiful!

He's right about the cargo space. Total volume is there, just not height. It's a very long vehicle.
