I went home for the July 4th weekend to visit with my family and got to tinker a bit with my Dad's cars. I gave three of them tune-ups and fresh fluids, put two on eBay, and washed 6 of them  It was a busy 5 days. Here are a few pictures I took:

His 1962 Sedan Deville with 59,000 original miles:

His 1970 Buick Electra 225 Convertible with 455 engine. 112,000 original miles:

His 1996 Fleetwood Limousine with 45,000 original miles:

Mom's 1998 Mercedes S600 with 59,000 original miles:

His 2002 Pontiac Trans Am Collectors Edition Convertible with 4K miles:

His 2005 ESV Platinum (now on eBay):

His 2006 Dodge SRT-8 Charger:

He has a few others, but they are not worth the bandwidth. Of all the cars, the Electra 225 and the Charger blow my mind.

Here is a video of the '70 Buick Electra 225.. that 455 motor is no joke

I think that Biarritz is a special edition. Every time I've seen that paint scheme it's on a very low mileage car.

Nice toys!

Thanks!

Yes, the Eldorado is a Custom Biarritz Classic, which had:

Two-tone exteror paint
Arizona beige and Demitasse brown on the front hood and the roof surface
Two-tone interior in light beige and dark saddle
Leather wrapped steering wheel rim
Gold plated Biarritz script on the exterior sail panels and the trunk lid
Dark brown accent stripping-Elias

My uncle had a 69 Buick deuce and a quarter in white. Very nice ride. Additionally my buddy's mom had a Pontiac Catalina with the 455 in it. Plenty of cubic inches to work with there..

That Eldorado Custom Biarritz Classic is one of my favorite Cadillacs ever, and one of my favorite cars ever.

I will have a '77-'78 Eldorado Biarritz in my lifetime.

That '70 Deuce and a quarter is quite nice too. The hi po 455 kicks ass.

What does your father do if you don't mind me asking?

Oh, man, does that Buick sound nice. Nothing sounds better than a V-8. And that '62 DeVille is gorgeous. Those fins are perfect and I love the teardrop shape of the vent window. Great collection.

He has been working for Uncle Sam since he graduated college in 1976 as a Nuclear engineer. He retires in 9 months. I hope to be as successful as him one day.

I thought he owned an Cooking oil, fruit, nuts importation business, dealing in pitted olives, and other food delecacies from the middle east. I am wrong ? Maybe I have him confused with another, if so...forgive, for I am senile.

Yes, you are correct Sandy, he and my mother also own:

www.shaheenimports.com (http://www.shaheenimports.com)

But that is not his main source of income

He is also trying to open a dealership when he retires, focusing on eBay sales mainly.

Take care,
Elias

I love the '62 Deville and the Trans Am. Nice:cool:

Cool vid, but it would have been much better if it was a 0-60 video! :D

Haha, he bought the Limo for my sisters upcoming wedding in September and now it is the main reason why he is selling his Escalade. The limo is a much cooler way to take the whole family out to dinner

I wish I had time to make a 0-60 vid of the Buick and Charger... alas, I will just have to make one of my Fleetwood :highfive:

Take care,
Elias

True true, but this is his only daughter and he even got personalized plates for her wedding day. Plus it is a great way to drive the family around instead of in the Escalade

Holy Shit Batman!!!!!!!!!!

I think I need to go puke or something, people that can afford to have that many nice cars makes me sick. If I don't end up like that before I die I have failed. I mean here I am shuffling 3 caddys in the skinny ass driveway and when people come thay have to park in the street, and this guy finds the place to store what 6? 8?? huge ass boats of cars, what does he have a warehouse?

Not to sound sarcastic, I just cant believe anybodys worth that kind of money, for doing anything.

Wow, and to think I missed seeing some of these due to getting sick my planned trip day:bigroll:

The Bentley is, well, a Bentley, but how does it compare to that godly S600 that used to be in its place?

It is amazing, words can't describe that 6.8 liter Turbo and the amount of careful craftsmanship and time that went into building this piece of automobile artwork. The bad part is you can't just drive it anywhere, it is too rare and catches just too much attention, some of the wrong attention. So to make a long story short, I think it is going up for sale in January and being replaced by a top end luxury car (S550, LS460, A8 W12, E63, etc) that can also be made a daily driver for my Mums
