Hey everyone:

I'm helping my dad find a nice Brougham (preferably d'elegance) and I found one I really like on ebay but I have no idea what these things are worth. It's a 1992 with 131,000 miles but has been well cared for. I just don't know what to bid...

here's a link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cadillac-Fleetwood-1992-Brougham-dElegance-1-owner-Florida-car-immaculate_W0QQitemZ300004275460QQihZ020QQcategory Z6149QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem.

Any help is greatly appreciated. My dad is a real stickler.... I regret volunteering to help! :)

Kyle

Ooooh I was looking at that one yesterday, she's a real beaut! I love that color combo, especially the white leather!

According to the NADA guide. For a 1990 Brougham with 131500 miles, the price range falls inbetween $2100 for a beat up version to $3150 for one in good condition to $4,000 for one in top condition. Since this is a d'Elegance and it's in pretty good condition, I'd offer $3200.

yep, agree with everything the last poster sid - special car + special condition = special price.

As with all these auctions, go up the MINIMUM amount you need to outbid the last poster.

I'll be interested in seeing what the "reserve" price has been set at, though. That is one nice looking set of wheels

Thanks for the advice...it is invaluable to hear from those in the know. I was thinking over 3 grand. Who knows what the competition will be!

It is a beauty...my dad is all about the white leather! I never even knew there was white... I'm used to tan, grey, or black :)

Thanks again!

this is a caddy man...nearly any color leather u could want was avaliable at some point over the past few decades. My favorites would have to be the Yellow from the 77-79s those were sweet...and then the greens

I like the yellow leather too, but the dashboard and carpet was always that mustard color, that killed it for me.

BTW, what dickhead put blackwalls on that Brougham!

I wouldn't call the guy names but I agree, whitewalls definately look better with the stock wheels.

You're right - name calling is out of order and an apology should be made to whoever went with the decision to go blackwalls on this Brougham..

Here goes (Ahem!! !Cough!, !Cough!):

"Gee, I'm so sorry you're a dickhead for putting those blackwalls on a Caddy."
