Y'allz,

I just got a 1996 FWB in Deep Adriatic Blue with the grey interior and black vinyl roof.

I've wanted such a car since I saw the 1993 version at the 1992 New York International Auto Show (I was 10). The car AWED me. It was set up on a platform, so I was face to face with all that gleaming chrome that bejewels its lower panels. The car made quite the impression.

Well, all these years later, I actually have one...and it's a beaut.

Here are some pictures!:

Real nice! After what, 13 years?, that body style is starting to grow on me. Not as classic or recognizable as the older ones but still classier than anything Caddy has offered since, plus the LT1 doesn't hurt either. Good luck with it!

Ha, 13 years...worth the wait.

Of course, in the interim, I've owned a 1961 Buick, 1959 Cadillac, 2005 Chrysler 300C, and a 1958 Plymouth (among other, more mundane, FWD sedans, like a 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP).

So I've been kept busy with other auto pursuits. As such, the FWB was sort of a side-tracked dream.

It's identical in color to my '94, except mine has the blue interior. I don't think there is a nicer color than the dark Adriatic Blue. The fine metalic really sparkles in the sun.

Congrats on your new car!

Congratulations on the beautiful Caddy.
Mine's almost identical. A year older (95) but with a blue top.
I imagine you're as pickled tink as I was when mine rolled "Out of the box" from the delivery transport from TX.
ENJOY:thumbsup:

Looks quite black to me. Would calling it deep deep deep charcoal help?

The adriatic blue is a beautiful color! Looks like it's in excellent shape. Definatly hold on to that one. The LT-1 is a great engine, you should have no problems. And if you ever wanted to get a little more power out of it, it's easy to do and definatly won't hurt anything.

What a nice "Classy Chassis"! The interior looks as mint as the exterior. that car should last you a long, long, while.

Congrats! Thats a very nice looking Brougham, I loooove that color, probably the 2nd best color for the LT1 Broughams IMO after slate green. I'm actually considering buying one of those at some point. The LT1 just has so much appeal to me, plus it's the "cadillac of cadillacs" and no Deville or Eldorado can ever have that title.

Quick question: Are the seats in that firm for a Cadillac or are they pretty soft? I sat in a '94 Brougham with the cloth seats, and they were quite firm for a Cadillac. Maybe it was just that '94?

Mine is the same color. I didn't know it was called "adriatic blue" and I've had it 3 years now. I thought it was "midnight blue", I honestly think its the best color for the last of the Fleetwoods.

Dark blue however you wanna call it is my favorite color.
