I know that a tape player was available and a CD player was available in 1990, but were the two available together. Anyway, I bought a 1994 FWB's CD combo because it looked the same. But my ploblem is even though it fits, the plugs don't go.

I think the control box's were the same, so can I splice the wires or do I need a whole new 1994 amp??? (I hope not) Nonetheless, the colors aren't the same - can someone tell me what wire to put where to make this thing work? You can see the two below.

This is the original radio's plug - the other end is still in my dash.

But even the colors in the dash don't match the ones on the plug, so I don't know what goes where. The left picture shows the '94 with the other end...see, the colors just don't match. Oh, what do I do. There's the front of the new radio - it doesn't have any differences does it (display, features, etc.)?

I got a factory one in my 90. Mine is only the cd. The cassette cd's were the 93 body styles.

Anyways its the same plugs as a factory cassette....

The CD palyers came with 2 extra speakers too.... which i have. They are mound on the doors.

Those plugs arent the same as a 90 either... i remeber them as being two bigger black ones.

I have a few 90 radios out of 90-92's and thats hoew i rermeber them. But if you can get a factory 90-92 (only 127 made) then its a plug and go... And it works.

this here 91 on ebay is rakeing in over 5000.. it has the "factory cd" same as yours. Not like my 90 one. But it has the speakers on the doors.. CD dont work though. It may have been changed.
I think the price is so high cuz its a 5.7 and a delegance. But its got 106k

I was hoping it was becasue the CD palyer... lol Id sell mine for 5000 with the cd player.

Rare option though. I never saw antoehr one with it... like mine. I got offerd a good some of money before for the radio alone.

Mine has the tape & cd radio. It looks the same as that car on ebay.

My 92 Brougham came with the tape/CD and door speakers.
Both the tape and CD stopped working a few years back - but the radio still sounds good ;)

The CD player in my '90 stopped working too, that sucks, the only reason I bought the damn thing was so I could play CDs, and now it won't.
