I'm not one for tanning too much so I have sunpoising on top of sunpoising on my shoulders so thats a lot of fun. But other then that it was great. I will post up some pics later on when we download them onto my labtop. But I think we did it all while we were down there. My favorite thing was doing two dives in Cozumel. First dive me and Katshot went down and we got about 90 ft down and were checking out a reef and going through some caves and saw a lot of beautiful fish, some morray eels, and a 2-3 ft sea turtle. And by the time we got up we got stuck in a wicked thunderstorm and it cleared up about 15 min later and we got a second dive in and we saw the biggest damn lobster either one of us has ever seen cruising around on a reef. Well I am beat and I will probably post up pics tomorrow thebigjimsho 07-08-06, 11:31 PM So Katshot is your girlfriend?:hmm: Stoneage_Caddy 07-08-06, 11:48 PM nope .....unless blackout is female and they live in alabama .... hey blackout , tell me more about it ...im planning my vacation for next year ...cancun is at the top of the list ... Blackout 07-08-06, 11:55 PM So Katshot is your girlfriend?:hmm:lol....nah. Me, the gf, and the fam all went together. Blackout 07-09-06, 09:55 AM nope .....unless blackout is female and they live in alabama .... hey blackout , tell me more about it ...im planning my vacation for next year ...cancun is at the top of the list ...Hey Stoney. Well Cancun is one fun trip. This was my third time being there. This time we didn't stay in Cancun we stayed in Playa Paraíso which is between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. The place was nice but I would rather stay in Cancun because there is more to do there and where we were you needed to drive about 20 min or more to get to a place to do something. If you are a certified diver then Cancun is one of the best places to go for diving. Most of the reefs are in shallow water so you get a better bottom time which is nice. The night life is the best! Carlos N' Charlies, Senor Frogs, and Coco Bongo are great clubs to go too. The last time I went to Cancun it was just me and the gf and we set up all of our activities with Olyumpus Tours and they had a bar hopping tour which I highly recommend (if they still even offer it) but you meet up at a bar at a place called Come N' Eat. Nice place but its kinda boring. You stay there for a certain amount of time and then you hop onto their double decker party bus and they bring you to Carlos N' Charlies and you stay there for like and hour and a half or longer and then you head to Senor Frogs and then off too Coco Bongo. The best part was it was like $50 a person and all of your drinks at all of the bars are free. By the time we got to Coco Bongo we were royally shit faced and we just wanted to check the place out and out of all of them it was by far the biggest of them all. Then there are the natural theme parks as they call them. The two best are Xel-Ha (http://www.xel-ha.com/) and Xcaret (http://www.xcaret.com/index.php). Both of them are great but in different ways. Xel-Ha has more water activities while Xcaret is much bigger and has less water activities but a whole lot more to check out. Both places you can swim with dolphins but its kinda pricey. We went to Xcaret while we were there this time and to swim with the dolphins it was $150 a person (we skipped on that). Since you live in Florida I guess weather temperatures aren't a factor for you but going to Mexico in July I wouldn't recommend. Hot as hell and humid as hell everyday, morning through night its humid! The gf and I went to Cancun for our one year anniversary and we went in November. According to the travel agent its still part of their hurricane season so its a crap shoot but we had awesome weather (70's and 80's with next to no humidity) and there is no where near the amount of tourists there in november as there is in July. I would highly recommend going to a all inclusive resort. It saves you a lot of money in the long run. If there's anything else you want to know about just let me know. Hope this helped you out somewhat:thumbsup: thebigjimsho 07-09-06, 02:00 PM Ahhhhhhhhhhh, paragraphs please! I got halfway through and my brain had a meltdown. | |
