I bought a 1999 STS from some old folks off of Autotrader about 3 weeks ago. I've since grown to love the car. You know how when you get a new car theres things youl liked about the old one that the new one doesnt have? Not the case with my STS. My old Buick hasn't got a single thing on it better than the STS. Upgrades below:
Buick > STS
Concert Sound 2 with cassette> Bose with cassette cd and 6 disc changer
Dual Front Aurbags > Front and Side airbags
15 inch alloys > 16 inch chromes
176hp 225lb ft >300hp 295 Lb ft
No Onstar > Onstar
Floaty worthless suspension > CVRSS :)
Gutless exhaust note > sends chills
crappy headlight > awesome headlights
chirps tires, when its wet, sometimes > chirps tires shifting into second gear, dry weather, manual shift :)
no sunroof > sunroof
Im in love. MY mother and grandmother both have buicks. I've convinced my grandma to go Cadillac, but my mother refuses to give up her heads up display in her 99 Park Ave. Wierdo.
Pictures in the coming days, and it's true what I've read here, Once you Cadillac, You don't go back!
