My buddy is looking for slightly used car (03, 04) for around $20k. It has to have amenities and a unique personality. Something with about 30k miles. If it can't be the CTS (he'd love one, but can't locate one), what would it be?

Would he consider going for a 2002 ETC? Great car.

Good point. If you get that with the leather package, it's got the GLE's auto climate control and heated leather seats!

It was an automatic but the thing was fully loaded. BOSE stereo system, automatic A/C, heated seats, etc. but he beat on that thing all the time and that thing kept on ticking. I love those cars to death but I would need a stick shift and not an automatic. But they had a nice ride and had some good pick up as well. But if I had to choose then I would definatly have to have a 2002-03 SE fully loaded with the 6 speed manual with the HID's and be that blue color with the cream colored interior:2thumbs:

A 02-03 Maxima SE 6 Speed or GLE is one of the cars I'm seriously thinking about buying next.

I second that!

How about a 1986 Porsche? They cost around $20K and smiles come standard (no, you cannot have mine):).

In all seriousness, how about a new Pontiac Solstice? A boatload of fun for under $20,000!
