: 1 week update

Dealer has had the car since last Weds a.m. to work on:

From vandalism:
New rear window
Left passenger door paint and body
Replace center console
Replace NAV

From warranty:
Check leaky radiator syndrome
Check leaky diff syndrome
Check peeling nav button syndrome (reported before the vandalism)
Check faulty upholstery on driver's sunvisor syndrom (4th time)

Vandals 4 - dealer 0
2 windows ordered - neither were correct.
Body shop too busy for paint
Center console on indefinate (sp?) backorder from GM
NAV? What's a NAV? Oh - we missed that

Warranty 0 - dealer 0
(don't know how to award points here)
Leaky radiator - ordered new reservoir cap (I showed them the tsb on radiators)
Leaky diff - we overfilled it - it will go away after a while (sooner or later it will stop leaking)
Peeling NAV - body shop will take care of that
Driver's sunvisor - ordered - delivery date UNKNOWN (and I quote here) "...GM has been terrible about supplying parts as of late. Doesn't matter if it is a bolt or a block, we can't seem to get it."

Gotta love the V - dealers or not.

At least my service writer rocks (even if the body shop manager is, well, )

Looking forward to visiting my V in, well, about a week or so for an update. Current days out of service (not all warranty or defect, mind you) 103 in 2.4 years of ownership.

Very sorry to hear about your V. Leaks we deal with but Vandals suck.

No piling on here from me. :want: I've been kick boxing lately to keep in shape. I've got yer' back. Although you should know an errant right hook hit the chain bag last night and I don't quite have the power in it that I once did. But I'm a good biter when necessary. Ah crap, you already knew that.

You and your teeth, CVP...they just keep me (whoops, wrong forum).

Tell us, does that SRT8 turn or not?

After installing KW V2 fully adjustable coilovers, Hotchkis Sways, 1" drop all 'round and parting with roughly $2,200 hard earned dollars, I can now say the SRT-8 handles. Prior to that it wallowed. I dare say I can run with the CTS-V boys now. Non-maggied of course.

You do mean stock, FE4 suspension V's, right? Not Hotchkis, Ground Control, lowered, widened wheels with FG2 V's...no?
