I know the the V's come with engine covers but can you put one on a 3.2. Cause i have seen a couple of the custom painted ones and would like to put one on my car. Or will it only fit a V8

The 3.6 & 2.8 come with engine covers. I don't think the 3.2 can be adapted for the cover unless your a McGuiver.

Forget about it! It looks wayyy better w/o an engine cover on it.

Next thing you know, you'll want it to look like this :p

You can plate or paint your CAI or fusebox cover. If you install the CTS-V hard radiator cover to can plate or paint it also. That would really spruce up your engine bay.

I think the intake manifold looks quite sexy. Maybe powder coat just that instead? :D

Engine looks a tad different, so I'll assume it's the one that was in the Catera.

Edit: On second look, it looks like a totally different engine. Looks like chain driven cams.

Can u have plastic dipped in chrome or does it have to be metal?

Without the cover the 3.2, 2.8 & 3.6 look very similar.

Chrome plating plastic is a different process but it can be done. CMS can do it but they're sorta on hold at the moment. A couple of companies in CA do it. Maybe the CA boys will chime in.:)

Here's a link to an alternative. Very pricey Chrome paint but really looks like chrome.

Here's a link to some awesome flame jobs. A guy in the V Forum thinks they could do an awesome job on the engine cover. Cool website too.

I don't think the 3.2 looks all that bad without a cover.
