Hey, I was wondering what issues existed with the 1990 Broughams? It has the 350ci,sunroof,leather,pw,pl,ps,abs

Brand new rotors, new distributor, new fuel pump, new fuel pump relay, new battery. Rust-checked regularly. The driver's side door doesn't lock and the window on that door doesn't go down. A few rusts spots (nothing crazy) and a few dings (again, nothing crazy).
That's what I know of it thus far. He's looking for $900 which may or may not be bad although the mileage is pretty high(355,xxxkm) and although I may like my country it needs a respray.

Another thing I was wondering was is it at all possible to swap either a analog gauge cluster in or fabricate custom gauges(I know the mileage will be off but I could get that adjusted/have it marked with swapped cluster) as I don't like the digital gauges.

What am I looking at for fuel economy with the 350? Any other tidbits of info I should know about these cars?

There aren't really any issues. Someone asked this question the other day too so look for that post and you can also just look throught his section of the forum to see what problems people have but you'll probably have a hard time finding that. That car was on ebay a while ago.

With the 350, probably the most reliable modern Cadillac since the 425's of the late '70's.

Make sure it's in a good state of tune. That's a starter. 13/22 may be a bit off. They were EPA rated at 16/25 for the 305 and 14/21 for the 350. I'm not sure why the 350's rating drops off so much. I can't imagine 45 cubic inches making THAT much of a difference. They both have to push around the brick shaped 4500 lb object.

When I say 21MPG highway, that's what 90Brougham350 said with his '90 that has 140k miles. He says it's 21MPG @ 65MPH IIRC. Others have said they get like 17/23 or so with their Broughams.
