Well, she went Friday afternoon on the ride home from work, the bearings went all to hell and she was growling like no tomorrow and throwing coolant everywhere, so I got a new pump from Checker for $38 and put it in this weekend. Very easy install, I enjoyed the work more than I thought I would. Only took me about 4 hours total time on the pump, but I put a new waterneck and thermostat in too. I got some of those green hoses and the waterneck off an LT-1 Caprice at the yunk yard. Everything went nice and smooth, and the new pump is so damn quiet! I'll post some pics of the new pump tomorrow.

Cool! (litterly!)

Glad it went off without a hitch!

Make sure on the hoses you have the right clamps, I think worm style, else they will rupture easily. The don't take well to rubbing at all, so be careful. Else they last forever.....
