Ahh Bastards!!!:crybaby:
My 90 Brougham with 88k original miles (yes i swear! ) Well today i was driving home from my shop (ironically pulling the dash board out of my 92 parts car) and parked the car, went in for dinner (bonless chicken in a nice sauce and some pasta) :stirpot: Came out and got in to go back.. when i started it up i noticed the ODomEter shot up to 350k miles!! I pretended i didnt see what jsut happend and re started... it was still 350k.. My heart sank. it was flickering, juet the miles.... liek some of the numbers were changing back and forth. Still pretending it isnt really doing this i drove. The trip went up but the 350k reading didnt...... Comming to a red light a little later hitting the brake it ent back to its nice.. original 88k.:worship: I felt relived..... Got back to the shop ready to blow up a maby cursed 92 parts car, but its still reading 88k... like it never happend....

Any input fellows? :hide: Im afraid it will come back!!!

My first parts car i remember had 150k and the ODoMerter was goign from 150 to 350 irratically....

That's the normal digital dash problem that a lot of them get. Mine says a lot of strange things until it goes back to the right milage again.

Yup, until I've been driving for a good half-hour or 45 minutes, mines' all over the place, says ERROR alot, among other things.

Is it the cluster itslef or just the car/computer??

I believe it's only the cluster, I think there's a few bad grounds in there somewhere.

It's the digital dash itself that has the problem.

My '94 FWB dash was fine until one day the trip OD was out. It comes back on when the temp. get down to about 20 deg F. I think there are some bad contacts on the circuit board. Until I get a back up car, I'm not going to worry about it. I've lived with it for a couple of years now.

See the vendor section of this board - "Mr. Whizard Tech Services" can repair your Brougham cluster for $159.
